LONGITUDE LABS

For three centuries, only a few could cross open water without losing themselves. The rest guessed — and the guessing killed them.

Then someone built the instrument, and every ship could fix its own position.

We are building that instrument again, for a harder kind of open water — so that any field can find its own bearing instead of borrowing someone else's.

Latitude was always the easy one. Longitude was the hard problem — and the one worth solving.
